Voters cited abortion, Social Security, the climate crisis, energy independence, or economic pressures, as the issue that brought them to the polls.
"You couldn't coordinate this even if you tried to," said political science professor Wayne Lesperance, interim president of New England College.
Two of the GOP councilors cited concerns about the right of parents to know what their child discusses or shares during the program.
Nationwide, half the country had heard “very little” or nothing about the latest COVID booster, which became available last month.
There are still persuadable voters in these age groups, pollsters said.
